This half term our Topic is Weather.

We will be learning about extreme weather and looking at the effects of climate change. First, we will find out information about Antarctica and the penguins that live there. Next, we be generating our own questions about Antarctica and conducting our own research to find out the answers. We will be focusing on learning more about getting around Antarctica, the weather and climate, wildlife, and food. Continuing with our cold weather we will find out more about penguins and how they cope with the extreme weather conditions and we will work together to make a penguin huddle. Then we will investigate and discuss the impact of climate change and think of ways to help the environment. Finishing off our topic by creating a class eco-code.
