We cannot wait to be back together with you all again!
In this term's unit about the Americas, children will:
Find out about the continents of North and South America, and the countries that form them.
Look in more detail at some of the contrasting regions of the Americas, finding out about the landscape, climate and locations of each area.
Carry out a detailed fieldwork study of our local area to identify the similarities and differences between a region of the Americas and where they live.
Develop their map and atlas skills and practise reading and writing coordinates. They will learn about the ancient and new wonders of the world, specifically those of the Americas.
- Reading books are to be kept in school until further notice. Please access Oxford Owl website to supplement reading at home. https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/books/free-ebooks/
- P.E is on Tuesday and Thursdays-Please ensure your child has their kit in every week
- Homework will usually be given on a Monday and due in on Friday. If your child requires some help with their homework, please encourage them to come to see Mrs Boyde during the week so she can help them. You all have your teas login to access homework. These can be printed off to complete and a photograph returned via teams, or answers recorded on a piece of paper / notebook and again a photograph of the completed task sent via teams.
