Mrs Moseley

Welcome to the Rangers class page!

Your class teacher is Mrs Moseley!

Hello Rangers!

Summer 2

Why do we like to be beside the seaside?

This half term we will identify the following physical features: mountain, lake, island, valley, river, cliff, forest and
beach. We will recognise some of the advantages and disadvantages of living in a city or village and begin to recognise the type of work that a seaside resort brings. We will look at various British seaside resorts and their features and will discover why a lighthouse is used and why some resorts have lifeboats.

English - In English we will be focusing on our text 'Grandad's Secret Giant'.

Maths - In maths we are developing our knowledge of 'Time and Measurement'

Key information:

  • PE will take place on Monday and Thursday each week. Please ensure your child has their correct kit in school. PE kits will be sent home at the end of each half term to be washed.
  • Book bags, reading books and diaries must be signed and brought to school daily.
  • Children's reading books will be changed each Friday or when appropriate.
  • Your child needs to bring a water bottle to school, filled with water only and a piece of fruit for snack if desired.
